スタートアップが国内外の市場で勝つには、国内外の優秀な人材を集め、グローバルなチームを作ることが求められる。そのため、最近は海外人材（日本に居住する日本人以外の人材も含む）の採用に関心をもつスタートアップも増えている。その一方で、海外の人材は日本のスタートアップの情報を集める機会が少なく、そしてスタートアップは国内外に分散する海外人材にアプローチする方法が豊富にある訳ではない。加えて、海外人材の採用後にも様々なバックグラウンドを持った人材が活躍できるよう経営を行わなければならない。そこで、本セッションでは、海外人材を積極的に採用している企業や、日本で起業した海外人材から、どのように海外人材を採用していくのか、そしてどのような人材が求められるのかを聞いていく。また、海外人材をどのように海外展開に活かしていくのか、海外の競合に対する優位性に活かしていくのか議論する。

For startups to succeed in both domestic and international markets, they need to attract top talent from around the world and build globally diverse teams. As a result, an increasing number of startups are showing interest in hiring international talent, including non-Japanese professionals residing in Japan.
However, international talent often has limited access to information about Japanese startups, and startups themselves do not always have extensive means to reach potential candidates across different regions. Furthermore, after hiring, companies must create an environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can thrive.
In this session, we will hear from companies actively recruiting international talent, as well as from foreign entrepreneurs who have started businesses in Japan. The discussion will explore effective strategies for hiring international professionals, the skills and qualities in demand, and how global talent can contribute to overseas expansion and competitive advantages against international rivals.
